Episode 153: Speed (1994)

A bus is forced to speed around a city, keeping its speed over 50 miles per hour, and if its speed drops, the bus will explode. It’s a little movie that Homer Simpson calls: The Bus That Couldn’t Slow Down.

This week, special guest Andy Manoff joins us to talk about literal money laundering, the difference between commandeering a vehicle and carjacking, and this movie’s statement on mass transit in Los Angeles. We also offer our belated thoughts on the Game of Thrones finale before finding out if 1994’s Speed stands the Test of Time.

You’ve mixed up your vampire movies! True, Keanu Reeves had been in one by the time he got to “Speed”, but it was not “The Interview with the Vampire”.

The summary of how all the means of transportation in LA blow up cracked me up! Well spotted.
